
In 2007 CASMA launched the airline industry’s premier educational course study with four courses designed to assist carriers in educating new or existing employees more in depth on topics including: Introduction to Airline Distribution, Introduction to Reporting and Settlement, Introduction to Revenue Management and Introduction to Airline Data. Over the last two years hundreds of individuals attending CASMA's bi-annual conferences have had the opportunity to further educate themselves in these all important area’s of airline distribution and revenue management.
New this year, CASMA continued to expand its course offering by adding Advanced Courses on Revenue Management and Airline Data. And debuting this Fall at our conference in Las Vegas, NV October 25-28, 2009 will be our new course on Revenue Integrity.

CASMA University - 101 Introduction to Airline Reporting and Settlement This CASMA U course will demystify how travel agencies report airline transactions and the settlement processes that govern airlines, travel agencies and other parties involved with the purchase and refunding of airline travel. Join us for an in-depth look at the intricacies of reporting and settlement, developments on the horizon and ways that groups around the world interact in this process.
CASMA University - 101 Introduction to Airline Data Continuing the CASMA U educational series with a look at Airline Data. What are the industry data sources? What data is available? How is it formatted? What is the frequency? These and many other questions will be addressed in this 2 hour presentation on Airline Data. And of course the key reason to attend is to find out how airline use the data to make meaningful and strategic decisions.
CASMA University - Introduction to Revenue Management CASMA University continues with a presentation on Revenue Management. What is it? How does it work? Why do airlines invest heavily into perfecting their ability to effectively manage revenue? Those and other questions will be answered during this presentation.
